The rails are a flowing blend of soft box rails that taper and foil perfectly. This is to keep you up out of the water when paddling, flowing through turns and skating across dead sections.
The bottom is pure hydrodynamic science and thirty years of shaping experience. A perfectly balanced flowing tri-concave (a single front foot concave flowing into two concaves on either side of the stringer that flow out through the tail). The rocker is pinnacle, in that it flows through out the board with some acceleration in the last third of tail - not too excessive as that can ruin a fish.
The template is different then a old school fish in that the tail is not overly large. This allows it to turn much better than the old school fishes and gives it more of a performance feel and ability. All the best of the old and all the best of modern know how, experience and science.

Recomended fins are FCS 7000's with a baby GX trailer, or Futures with larger twin style fins and their baby third fin. Either setup comes standard and are included in the price of each board. This board also excels as a quad set up.

Ideal Surf: 1' - 4' mushy chop or long glassy lines.
